Brent seems to be the exception to the rule - he is about the lifestyle - not the catwalk. He wants to be successful in the fashion industry so he and his wife can go on annual 3 month surfing holidays. He is self taught and doesn't sketch; he prefers to allow his garments to evolve organically. His focus is street wear; he isn't interested in what's going in Europe and doesn't spend his time rattling off the names of international designers. He has worked as a bicycle courier, brickies labourer and furniture removalist and is 'stoked' he is now working in a field he loves that also allows him time for his daily surf. He is easy going, open minded and rarely gets ruffled. |
