After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design (Women’s Wear) over five years ago, Deborah has worked in both England and Australia as a fashion designer and a design lecturer. Deborah specializes in women’s ready to wear, evening wear and Avant garde, but she also loves knitwear. Her favorite designers include John Galliano, Alexander McQueen and Akira Isogawa. She is currently teaching fashion design. Her biggest claim to fame is assisting the designer of the Bjork Swan Dress when she was studying in London. Deborah is opinionated, fiery, competitive and determine. Deborah will take crap from no one; she lives by a 3 strikes and you are out rule – and she isn’t afraid to use it. Deborah sees Project Runway as a chance to enhance her career. Deborah was brought up in a traditional Asian household and has struggled for her parent’s approval since she decided to enter into the fashion industry. Over the years her parents have come to terms with her decision and are proud of all her achievements. |
