22 Adelaide Almost finished her Adv Diploma in Fashion Design & Technology at Marleston TAFE. Also manages her mother's vintage clothing store - Hero Vintage Designs - with her sister, which sells mint condition high fashion vintage from 1890's to 1970's. Vintage 1940s attire. Wears a lot of suits and loves accessories. A lot of bling. Very Marilyn Monroe! |
Born in England, Sophie moved to Adelaide with her family at age 5. Whilst currently completing her Advanced Diploma she also manages her mother's vintage clothing shop as well as working on her own designs which are all vintage inspired, character driven and quite theatrical. Her ultimate goal is to have her own shows internationally. Sophie is creative and artistically driven, confident, outrageous and definitely not shy. She sees fashion as freedom with every outfit telling a story. Project Runway signifies wider recognition to get herself out there and she is excited to meet other designers because Adelaide is relatively small and she hasn't has the opportunity to go to Melbourne or Sydney to see what's out there. |
