2/16 New Orleans, LA

On the weekend of February 16th, the best from the NBA as well as nearly 400 lucky MySpace users descended upon New Orleans for a very special Secret Show. So who did they all come out to see? Quite possibly, two of the South's hottest emcees. Early on, DJ Knuckles got the crowd at One Eyed Jack's dancing as they awaited the arrival of the evening's first performer, Mike Jones. Who? Mike Jones! With the kind of diamonds that could be seen from across the room, Mike grabbed the mic with authority and introduced his Ice Age crew, as well as new artist, V.I.C., The College Park Superstar who convinced everyone to "Get Silly" to his Soulja Boy-produced record. Later in his set, Mike boasted, "Back then they didn't want me, now I'm hot and they all want me." The crowd also excitedly recited the rappers' infamous phone number -- "(281) 330-8004" -- while other fans who drove all the way from Houston were delighted to hear the emcee's new hits "Turning Headz" and "Drop and Gimme 50."

Up next, the self-proclaimed "best rapper alive" (A.K.A. Lil' Wayne) proved to everyone why he was the original 504 Hot Boy. Throughout Weezy's rousing set, the "Duffle Bag Boyz" raised their hands in the air and the ladies in the room screamed "Go DJ" to DJ Wiz. Midway through, Wayne exposed his softer side, by telling the crowd that someone had left him two years ago, but that he is now back "in love."

From there, Weezy ended with the club anthem, "Poppin Bottles." Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals gave the final sign of approval, as he exited the club, along with hundreds of MySpacers who were still buzzing about what had just gone down.

MySpace wants to thank One Eyed Jacks, Erik Pettie & Universal Records, Jycorri Robinson, Brannon Scales & Warner Bros. Records, Zack Smith, Adam Hirsche, DJ Knuckles, Mike Jones, Lil Wayne, V.I.C. and the hearwarming people of New Orleans.
