There is something great about MySpace Secret shows when bands want Secret Shows to be part of their Record Release events. This week it was two bands! Cartel and The Rocket Summer, with Cartel having the hometown advantage here of Atlanta, GA.

You knew this was going to be a good show when kids drove form 5 different states to come to this show, including Tampa, FL, and TX! Kudos to those people for coming out, and driving all that way, and then saying thank you for the show! if it wasn't for fans like you guys and bands like Cartel and The Rocket Summer these shows wouldn't be happening, so THANKS to all of you who came out for this show! Both bands killed it, that night, even though the Rocket Summer is not from GA you would think both bands were from ATL, by the way the crowds sang to each song, and kids cheered. Rocket Summer played a bunch of new tunes from the new CD "Do You Feel?" that is out now, teased the crowd with a Metallica cover, and did a little crowd surfing.

Cartel took to the stage and played all the hits, including some off the new Self Titled CD "Cartel" that did stop kids singing the lyrics because of the Itunes EP that was released earlier this month. The cherry on top was a performance of the classic Oasis song "Wonderwall", it was a greta night. The bands all stayed around after to sign their ltd ed posters, and shake some hands. Well done son.
