H-Town's finest came out to welcome hometown hero Paul Wall on the release date of his latest album, appropriately titled "Get Money, Stay True." DJ Penetrate warmed up the crowd before DJ Michael 5000 Watts took the stage. While on the 1s and 2s, Watts brought out a series of artists from his independent, southern rap record label that he started in the late 1990s. Yung Reed, E-Class and Archie Lee reminded everyone why Swisahouse Records has dominated the local region for years.

Screw Mixtape icon Lil Keke da Don took the stage solo but also later joined Paul Wall onstage for "Chunk Up Tha Deuce." After humbly watching his label mates perform from the side of the stage, Paul commanded everyone's attention by performing not only his older songs like "They Don't Know" but those that took the People's Champ to national recognition such as "Sittin Sideways," "Girl" and "Tippin."

The highlight of the night was when Grill Master AKA the "Crowned Jeweler to the Stars," Johnny Dang joined his TV Jewelry business partner as he performed "Grills." Kids as young as 4 years smiled to show their grills and delightfully sang along to the chorus. Paul Wall ended by saying "This was a private, invite-only show for you-my MySpace friends." And although it was a very long and busy release day, with appreciation, Paul Wall took the time to sign MySpace secret show posters and take pictures with his friends.
