For months now the Secret Show message boards have been flooded with requests for one band. The drifted in and out of the Secret Shows top friends only creating more speculation and anticipation on whether the band will be the next artist picked to perform. The Secret Show friends asked for them and they got them, Cute Is What We Aim For!
Opening the show were LA natives The Oohlas. Fronted by the amazing voice of Olivia Stone they immediately caught the attention of the rambunctious crowd as everyone pushed to the front to catch a glimpse of exactly where that voice was coming from. The band played songs off their sunny debut album "Best Stop Pop" including the ultra catchy "Small Parts". After a brief set change Cute Is What We Aim for took the stage as the Chain Reaction swelled with screams and applause. The band had been on a short break before they head out this summer to play the main stage on The Warped Tour but they made time to squeeze in a Secret Show for their die hard OC fans. The band ripped through a full set playing nearly every song off their debut album "The Same Old Blood Rush" the crowed begged them to play. In the chaos of getting their free limited screen printed posters fans had a chance to hang out with the band, chat, take pictures with them and for a special lucky few catch a impromptu parking lot acoustic set, making this a night sure to remember
